hen weekend drinking:
Hen gifts have had some hilarious emails about brides-to-be getting so drunk that they can't even remember what went on during their own hen party!
We had one steaming email from a bridesmaid who had gone to alot of effort on organising the hen and the bride-to-be had passed out within AN HOUR.
So top tips on drinking at hen nights; you've heard them all before but hey ho... we may aswell be the ones to tell you again!
Get the btb (Bride-to-be) to drink a pint of milk before she starts on the shots. Eat shed loads of food: doughy stuff like bread/ pizza/ potatoes. Any white stodgy stuff. This will also line the stomach.
Check the sugar content of drinks before you buy. Champers especially can contain loads of sugar so try and buy one with less refined sugar; it'll help with the hangovers.
Start on champers and then maybe get on to the white wine spritzers; they are great as contain water so you are getting your dehydration fix whilst getting the booze in; bonus!
Take two painkillers before you go to bed; get the btb to do this aswell - but don't make a habit of it or your liver will pack up. Also, before you sleep drink a rehydration drink. (or you can have gatorade, lucozade etc but the diarrhea rehydration drinks work best).
